Art of the Classic Fairy Tales from the Walt Disney Studio

Summary A major exhibition featuring more than 600 original artworks that shaped legendary animated features including Snow White,
Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, as well as Disney's newest fairy tale, The Princess and the
Frog, set in New Orleans and due for release at Christmas 2009.
Dates November 15, 2009 to March 14, 2010 (17 weeks, encompassing many of the city's busiest times for tourism, including Thanksgiving
and Bayou Classic weekend, Christmas season, New Year's Eve, Sugar Bowl and Carnival season).
Hours Wednesdays, noon to 8 p.m.; Thursdays to Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays, Tuesdays and legal holidays (Thanksgiving Day,
Christmas Day and New Year's Day).
Admission Louisiana residents with valid photo identification (Audio Guide included in cost of admission): Adults, $8; Seniors (65 and up),
$7.50; Children 3-17, $5; Children under 3, Free. Out-of-state visitors: Adults, $16; Seniors (65 and up), $15; Children 3-17, $10; Children
under 3, Free. Discounted admission for Louisiana residents is made possible through the generosity of The Helis Foundation.
Members Free admission for NOMA members. Audio Guide $3. Memberships are available at the NOMA membership desk during regular Museum hours

Tickets Available at the NOMA admission desk only on a first-come, first-served basis. No advance tickets and no pre-set admission times.
Opening Preview The first viewing of Dreams Come True will be at the Museum's annual Odyssey Ball, the opulent fundraising gala to be
held the evening of Friday, November 13, 2009. For information on tickets to Odyssey Ball, contact the NOMA Volunteer Committee at (504) 658-4141.

School Tours School tours led by Museum docents can be arranged by calling the Education Department at (504) 658-4128. Notice four
weeks in advance is required.
Groups Viewing during public hours for groups of 20 or more can be scheduled at a discounted rate by calling (504) 658-4113.
Discounted group admission prices, per person, for Louisiana residents with valid photo identification (Audio Guide included in
cost of admission): Adults, $6.50; Seniors (65 and up), $6; Children 3-17, $4; Children under 3, Free. Out-of-state visitors: Adults,

Location The New Orleans Museum of Art, located in City Park, is convenient to the City Park/Metairie Road exit of I-10. The Museum
may be reached by public bus via the Carrollton Avenue or Esplanade Avenue line of the RTA, or by the Canal Streetcar.
Parking Ample free parking is available in front of the Museum on Lelong Drive.
Accessibility The Museum and the Sculpture Garden are fully accessible to handicapped visitors and wheelchairs are available
from the front desk.
