STUDIO KIDS!: PRINTING ACROSS CULTURES

NOMA’s Studio KIDS! art classes encourage creativity and imagination in students ages 5-12. Class projects are inspired by works of art from NOMA’s permanent collection and traveling exhibitions.

Printing Across Cultures
Visit Inventing the Modern World: Decorative Arts at the World’s Fairs, 1851-1939 to see how the fairs showcased works from many cultures. Sketch your favorite designs in the galleries, then turn sketches into relief prints in the classroom. Learn basic printmaking techniques and print on multiple surfaces including textiles and paper.

  • Ages 5-8: 12-2 p.m.
  • Ages 9-12: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
