Eight Great Works of Art at NOMA

What do Mick Jagger and Marie Antoinette have in common? They're both immortalized in the permanent collection of the New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA), which celebrated its 100th year in 2011. With more than 40,000 objects in the collection, NOMA is a treasure trove of fascinating artwork and artifacts that – like everything in New Orleans – go beyond the ordinary. These eight works of art are just a glimpse of the gems to be found at NOMA.
