A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a previous collaboration between NOMA and NOLA Project earned five nominations from the Big Easy Awards, including Best Comedy of 2011.

ABOUT Romeo & Juliet
Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet tells the classic tale of star-crossed young lovers who embark on a fatally doomed romance.

WHEN: November 28 and 29, and December 2, 5, 6, 9, 12, 13, 16 at 7:30 p.m.

TICKETS: Admission is $24, and $12 for NOMA members. Due to the confines of the space, seating for the production will be limited and advanced purchase is recommended. Children, 10 to 17 years of age, will be admitted for the prices listed. Due to the maturity of the production children under 10 years of age will not be admitted. Purchase tickets here

ABOUT NOMA AND THE BESTHOFF SCULPTURE GARDEN
The New Orleans Museum of Art, founded in 1910 by Isaac Delgado, houses more than 30,000 art objects encompassing 4,000 years of world art. Works from the permanent collection, along with continuously changing temporary exhibitions, are on view in the museum’s 46 galleries Fridays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The adjacent Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden features work by 61 artists, including several of the 20th century’s great master sculptors. The Sculpture Garden is open seven days a week from 10 am until 5 pm except for Fridays when it’s open until 8:45 pm. The New Orleans Museum of Art and the Besthoff Sculpture Garden are fully accessible to handicapped visitors and wheelchairs are available from the front desk.
