ODILI DONALD ODITA DISCUSSES HIS CAREER AND NOMA'S CENTENNIAL MURAL "FOREVER"
Odili Donald Odita spoke at NOMA on November 4, 2011 about his career and his new mural Forever, which was created for NOMA's centennial.
Odita, born in Nigeria and now based in Philadelphia, is well known for his hard-edged abstract paintings and murals in bright colors. His works are inspired by African textiles, contemporary media-centered culture and for Forever Odita also took inspiration from New Orleans.
