MELANATED SUMMER READING SERIES

The MelaNated Summer Reading Series started with a performance at NOMA on June 1st. Guests could hear original works from the MelaNated writers; a collection of writers of color in genres from fiction to screenwriting and memoir to poetry. While many of the MelaNated writers are originally from cities like San Francisco, Memphis, Cleveland, and London, all currently call New Orleans home.

This series continues with a performance on Saturday, July 14th at 4 pm at Cafe Treme, then on August 2nd at 7 pm at JuJu Bag.
